Strip parquet is mainly used in private houses, mansions, manor halls, schools, and many other places where high wear resistance for many decades is needed. As far as used is only natural wood it gives the interior very special close to the nature feeling.
Strip paruqet is delivered to the building site in unfinished form. The parquet is glued to subfloor, sanded and finished with oil, oiwax or lacquer. Strip parquet is very durable flooring material. It can be laid to different patterns such as herringbone, english, block or parallel pattern.

Wood types
Regular species for strip parquet are oak and ash.

Regular / Chevron / Herringbone
There are two kinds strip parquet – regular and chevron/french herringbone. Regular strip parquet has ends of parquet strips cut at angle 90 degrees. This parquet can be laid into herringbone, block, parralleel or english pattern. Chevron/french herringbone is strip parquet version where ends of parquet strips are cut by angle 45 or 60 degrees.
